Thomas Zimmerman, the  man responsible for the novel Stone Ribs,  is a writer and artist living in Brooklyn, NY. 

He grew up in the 70's and 80's in suburban Maryland on a steady diet of rock n roll and Creature Feature; reading every forbidden novel he could get his hands on. By the age of 9, the damage was done.

He was a KISS Army soldier, a 7-11 metal head, a DC punk who showed up just after the Salad Days. 

He dreams of filling his entire hallway with masks, but is always too busy writing.
